too sensual??

I finished a story, a new shade short-story. A fellow thinks Shade is too sensual, to sexy. I said; it was unusual for scifi, so he named Barbarella. then... well, he has a problem with shade shaving his chest and enjoying nipple play, so I wrote another. In this one he… [Spoilers]

Reason I'm so miffed 'out what he wrote was that the critique he did of the first few stories was really very good.

If you don’t like a little skin on your cooked potato, fine. Peel first. BUT, do remember that he skin of the potato is very high in mineral and vitamins. Anyway, I digress. All measurements are approximate, as this is your meal and will be to your taste. For example, the cheese you choose to use. And, for sheer convenience, I’d suggest you purchase grated cheese. It’ll save some hassle, heck peeling the onions will be bad enough; though, if you place the onion in the fridge awhile, it’ll make your eyes water less when you halve and slice it. Which reminds me: wash and slice your potatoes and store in a bowl, with water and a plate over. And, though you don’t need garlic, do recall it’s medicinal properties. Again I digress. Place a few slices of potato on the base of the casserole dish, then some sliced onion and then, some grated cheese, to cover. Then repeat this action, till you get to the top of the casserole dish, remembering that as it cooks, the meal with cook down, so fill to the top, leaving just enough room for the lid. Slice your tomatoes and, place on top of the potatoes, onion and cheese, in a decorative manner. Once could scatter a little celery salt on top, before you put the lid on the casserole dish and place in the oven. Now, here’s the thing: IF you’re using a convetionl gas oven, place about in the centre and cook for approximately fifty-five minutes at gas mark six, till the top looks kinda baked. And, if you use a microwave, use full power, for half an hour, ensuring you stop in the middle, wipe the condensation of the inside of the microwave, as the meal stands for a minute, then carry on cooking, for the remainder of the time. The meal can serve four or five and, can be served with sausages, baked beans, or broccoli.

a new Shade story…

Times Read: 585

Am writing a new Shade story… I wonder, “Does anyone read them? Does it matter?” I mean, I came to VR initially ‘coz I liked someone’s writing; then stayed, ‘coz in part, it became a platform for my own writing and now, the best people I’ve encountered have been through writing. It just seems that it’s a form of message that can say more than the words alone – it can act to communicate something of its origins, as well.

"Dear Yahoo Customer Care"

16:51 Nov 01 2012
Times Read: 611

Dear Sir/Ms:

I logged into my email kendrix1uk@yahoo.co.uk at 18:00 hrs. to check on family, friends and an appointments I await; but after responding to one email I was told by a Yahoo error message, my account is suspended, for possible suspicious activity.

When I looked to the page I’d been directed to it seems that something I’d sent had been flagged up, classing my outgoing mail as spam. I get enough Spam from others, that gets through; yet now I’m being told by my email provider I send it, I do not.

I send out small cam films to a few of friends and some stories, poetry, photo’s etc. You see, I write and draw and sometimes act [‘Expirydate’] and I have some work on Kindle/Amazon; although I choose not to other forms of social media like Twitter or Facebook, or even a mobile phone, I do use Yahoo email and, sometimes messenger.

This suspension is terribly inconvenient and, there’s a possibility I might lose work through it: hence this letter. I need my email account, for keeping in touch with friends and, most importantly, keeping in touch with my business contracts.

I rely on my Yahoo email account and, this suspension leaves me at a loss. I do not know to do, as much that I do from day-to-day relies on my Yahoo email account, including the appointment with the pain clinic at Clatterbridge Hospital that I alluded to in the first paragraph, [I have spinal issues, thanks to a lifting injury some thirty odd years ago] - therefore I do look forward to your reply, with anticipation.
